SAFARI TO MASAI MARA – Bushbuck Mara Camp
You can choose the length of your stay to suit your schedule and budget, but we suggest you stay a minimum of three nights as this allows you time to relax and absorb the abundant wildlife and beautiful scenery of this unique area.
A possible itinerary would be:
DAY 1: Join the morning or afternoon flight to Masai Mara from Nairobi's Wilson Airport to Ngerende airfield where you are met by your safari guide. Game drive on the way to Camp arriving for lunch. An afternoon game drive or walk from Camp returning as night falls. After dinner the evening is spent around the campfire listening to the sounds of the African bush.
DAY 2/3: We rise at dawn for an early morning cup of tea or coffee before heading off for our first game drive of the day. We may visit hippo pools, leopard gorge or rhino hill in our search for game in and around the Masai Mara. Return to Camp for a late breakfast or brunch. Afternoon tea followed by a game drive or walk with our Maasai guides. Dinner at Camp.
DAY 4: Early morning call with tea and biscuits followed by a game drive returning to Camp for breakfast, then transfer to airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi.
Alternatively, you can leave the Camp by our 4WD safari vehicle for a short private safari to one of the Rift Valley Lakes (Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha or Lake Baringo/Bogoria) - a popular option with many of our guests.
This safari can also be made by road to and from Nairobi. We would also like to mention that there are daily flights that operate directly from Mombasa to the Masai Mara.
Price guide for 3 nights / 4 days: US$ 1000 per person, by air (return); or US$ 850 by road (return). Price includes: transport (air/road), full board tented accommodation, game drives, park and camping fees. |
